CORNELIUS HENG CHIA CHIEF

Cornelius Heng Chia Chief graduated from the University of Teesside, United Kingdom for his BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy, and the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom for his BA(Hons) in Business and Management.

In his early life, he trained in National Police Cadet (Malaysia) as a sergeant police to yield a strong and healthy influence to enlightened good citizens contributing to nation-building. After that, at 16 he met a human development scientist at an education expo that inspired him to obtain into the human development science.
This brings a great realization that he is committed to making a great contribution to human development science. He begin to grounded his foundation based on physiotherapy science. He not going to disregard the knowledge from multiple standpoints of the rehabilitation. Over the year, He manage to have professional practice visits to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia and study with the expert in the field of nutrition science, strength, and conditioning, sports science, chiropractor, and physical therapist from the United State, Canada, and China.
In the year 2012 after meeting with an Olympic sports science community member in Shang Hai, He has an insight that the model of the human health rehabilitation knowledge does come from natural and social science. Through the year of exploring human rehabilitation and performance science, CHG Rehab (Cornelius Heng Group - CHG) was founded in 2015 in Kuala Lumpur - a rehabilitation and performance center that is designed to serve the community with their physical rehabilitation and movement performance. His physiotherapy practice primarily focused on outpatient physiotherapy at CHG Rehab Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.

Over a decade of practice, he is now a lead physiotherapist in CHG Rehab. His practice focus on neuromuscular and postural correction cases. He has extensive experience in post-acute care and returns to sports management.
Cornelius has been involved in several Winter Olympic Games 2022 landmark preparation at ChongLi - China, in which were widely explore his experience and insight in meeting with the great people around the world and world-class elite rehabilitation system. Concerning professional athletes, Cornelius led his team guarding independent national elite players such as triathletes, duathletes, athletes, Golfer, BWF Badminton top-player, figure skaters, weightlifting, and cyclist for their prevention and rehab management.

Cornelius has helped individuals at all stages from the community, school, corporate, and sports team to top-level elite athletes and from simple rehab cases to complex recovery management. He has extensive experience counting more than 1500 cases in post-surgical recovery, complex spine & joint neuromuscular deformity correction, and sport or non-sport-related injury prevention and rehabilitation management.
